Do we simply present our Swiss Travel Pass or do we need to get in line to acquire regular tickets?

Wondering about the boats, museums, trains?

    Thank you.

Hello baboberg, thank you for joining MySwissAlps!

This differs per journey and attraction. Whenever there’s a ticket desk (e.g. at museums or mountain transportation stations), you’ll have to present your Swiss Travel Pass. In some cases that’s all, in other cases you’ll get a free (electronic) entrance ticket. And in case of discounted routes, you’ll have to buy a discounted ticket.

You can hop on and off boats and trains, just showing your Swiss Travel Pass to the conductor when asked for.

    It’s explained here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/howtouse.
