Hello rail travelers,
I would like to announce a new direct TGV Lyria service from Paris to Bern, Thun, Spiez and Interlaken. Changing trains along the way is no longer required if you choose to travel with this train. It departs daily from Paris Gare de Lyon at 17:57, so you can spend most of the day in Paris. Arrival is at 22:30 in Bern and 23:43 in Interlaken Ost. Please note that it is recommendable to inform your hotel about your approximate arrival time. You may want to review our lists of suggested hotels close to the rail stations in Bern and Interlaken.
There is a direct train back from Interlaken, Spiez, Thun and Bern to Paris as well. It departs from Interlaken Ost at 6:09 and Bern at 7:29. Arrival in Paris Gare de Lyon is at 12:11. This service is offered daily from Bern and on Saturdays and Sundays from Interlaken, Spiez and Thun.
