Unfortunately the day we went up it was too cloudy and could not see anything. We did not get to sit on the chair lift and the bridge we walked on but couldn’t see anything. But on our way down , we saw the most amazing glacier lake , a lake sitting in the middle of no where around the mountains – it was stunning. The pictures we took came out so amazing. as the sun broke in between, from high up there we could see the green meadows beneath , with snow surrounding us and the green meadows below was an eye catcher.

The lake you saw must have been the Trübsee I guess.

Glad you had some good views on the way down!

I had a bit of bad luck with the weather last August when I went up to Titlis too. The lower reaches were all fogged in, which made the gondola trip quite eerie! But by the time I boarded the Rotair revolving gondola, I was above the cloud deck and under a sunny blue sky. At the top I could see all the peaks, but a sea of cloud obscured the valley. It was still a wonderful experience though!
