Hello all,

My wife and I are staying in Interlaken from January 18 through the 22. We have hotel reservations, ski rentals but I would like some information about what universal pass to buy while we are skiing in the Jungfrau. We will be arriving on a train from France and then skiing for two whole days and taking a trip to the Schilthorn. Which pass for three days of travel on buses, trams, cable cars and trains in the Jungfrau would you recommend? I took high school students to this same area back in '86 but I have forgotten how we did it then! Many thanks!!

Hi Gary,

The universal rail passes that are typical for the region aren't available in the winter - Regional Pass Bernese Oberland & Jungfrau Travel Pass.

There is also the hiking and sledging pass for the Jungfrau area (doesn't cover Schilthorn) that could work as well.

Other than the information on Alpenrose's links the other option would be the country-wide Swiss Travel Pass, which could work depending on your plans into and out of Interlaken.
