    Hi Janseywee,

Welcome to MySwissAlps! I can see you’ve given this much thought and your plans look good and doable to me. It is important to realize that quite some trips are weather dependent, so I recommend to check the forecast each day and only then decide on your trip for the next day. This should work well since you stay a couple of nights in each town. Note the spelling of Mont Pèlerin if you’re searching for more information about the place.

You can print your Swiss Travel Pass at home so you don’t loose time upon arrival: visit http://www.swissrailways.com/ en and fill out the number of travelers. After filling out your address, they will show the delivery options. Pick “Online Ticket” from the bottom of the list. They will e-mail the pass within 1-3 business days (no delivery fees). Other purchase options are listed here.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    Hi Arno,

Thanks for your reply! Greatly appreciate.

Will take note of your advice to check the forecast daily.

We intend to get our Swiss Travel Pass at the airport / train station 🙂

So looking forward to visit Switzerland!

    Jansey

    Hi Jansey,

You’re very welcome! Note that waiting times at the airport train ticket office can be anything from a few minutes to half an hour, possibly causing you to miss the first available train. And you won’t have a backup in case you lose the pass. That’s why printing it at home is much more comfortable. There is no price difference. It might even be cheaper online depending on where you buy (check http://www.happyrail.com/en/p ass/europe/switzerland /swiss-travel-pass-consecutive for example, that might be slightly cheaper than the official SBB webshop at http://www.swissrailways.com/ en).

In any case, enjoy the trip! I’m sure you will 🙂

    Hi Arno,

Got it! I will have a discussion with my group and come up with a plan.

Once again, thanks for your advice. Deeply appreciated.
