Hi zatakiap78,

The most popular cheese and chocolate factories are near Montreux (Broc and Gruyere) so that is the simplest option. But that day is already quite long if you are going to Geneva. I'd skip Geneva and go early to Montreux to visit the Cailler chocolate factory and Gruyere.

Hello zatakiap78,

I'd recommend to move to Interlaken on day 5, not Luzern. Then go to Luzern from day 8. And I agree with Lucas to skip Geneva.

Any suggestions on Glacier 3000.

Looking at my itinerary can I club it with the given dedicated days.

Is it a go experience worth exploring given my itinerary.

Do let me know.

The Glacier 3000 is nearest to Montreux. So you could choose that instead of the chocolate and cheese factories. Up to you. :)

It is a nice trip if you want another mountain experience - perhaps if Jungfraujoch has bad weather you could go there instead? Read about the trip I made there last January here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/forum/topic/day-trip-to-glacier-3000-near-gstaad

Yes, on your Golden Pass trip you could add on either the chocolate factory or Glacier 3000.

How to get to the Glacier 3000 is described in my trip report that I gave you on my last post.
You need to get off the train in Gstaad and then take a bus.

The chocolate factory (Cailler) is in Broc and the cheese factory (La Maison du Gruyère) is in Gruyere.

Use the timetable to plan the trips. https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable
