We are arriving in Zurich on July 25. We leave on August 10. We need a rail pass for 17 days. The pass is valid for only 15 days.We will be in Zurich for the first 4 days before moving on. We still need to get to the city and sightsee in and around Zurich for the first 2 days before we get the rail pass. Should we get the half fare card which is valid for a month? The rest of our trip is to the other regions where we will need a rail pass or the half fare card, till we return to Zurich on August 10. Any suggestions?

    Welcome to MySwissAlsp SaifeeDoctor!

For your first days I recommend either local day passes (valid for 24 hours) or a ZurichCARD which includes museums too: myswissalps.com/zurich /travel.
