Overnight stop Pontresina on Bernina Express

    traveling from tirano to Chur on Berninia Express – Can I get off and overnight in Pontresina and then get back on the BEX in the next day? Will this be extra cost? Need new seat reservations?

    Hi Bhende19,

    No problem to do so, but you’ll need two seat reservations as you’ll board a different train the next day.

    There is no need to do both trips on the actual Bernina Express. There are plenty of regular trains on the same route that do not require a reservation. If you want to take the Express it’s fine of course.
