Hi sgsayang,
If you’re planning a trip to Jungfraujoch, I suggest getting the Top of Europe Pass. This pass includes 1 trip to Jungfraujoch. The Jungfrau Travel Pass only provides discounts to Jungfraujoch, as detailed here: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfrautravelpass/validity.
You can find more information about the Top of Europe Pass here: http://www.jungfrau.ch/en-gb/top-of-europe-pass/
Let us know if you need further clarification.
Regards,
Anna

Hi sgsayang!
A 25% discounted trip with your Swiss Travel Pass costs about CHF 160 (prices are seasonal, and I’m assuming you’ll be traveling in June based on your previous thread): https://www.myswissalps.com/jungfraujoch/tickets.
The Jungfrau Travel Pass and the Top of Europe Pass are 2 different products:
- A 3-day Top of Europe Pass costs CHF 249 per adult, so that’s not cheaper. You may have seen the discounted price of CHF 159, but unfortunately that discount does not apply to Swiss Travel Pass holders. Please refer to the link Anna provided.
- A 3-day Jungfrau Travel Pass normally costs CHF 190, but for this pass there is a discount for Swiss Travel Pass holders, meaning you’d pay CHF 143 per adult (you can check discounted prices at https://www.happyrail.com/en/pass/europe/switzerland/jungfrau-travel-pass by selecting “Adult w. Swiss Travel Pass”) from the drop-down box. You’ll have to add CHF 75 for the discounted return trip to Jungfraujoch: https://www.myswissalps.com/jungfrautravelpass/validity. So that makes a total of CHF 143 + CHF 75 = CHF 218.
This means that an additional Jungfrau Travel Pass only makes sense if you plan more mountain trips in its validity area, that are discounted with a Swiss Travel Pass but free with a Jungfrau Travel Pass. If not, just getting your 25% discounted return tickets is the best option.
A few last notes:
- The Jungfrau Travel Pass is only available from mid-April to mid-October: http://www.myswissalps.com/jungfrautravelpass. But if you’re indeed traveling in June, that shouldn’t be a problem.
- If the youths in your company are under 15, they travel along for free with the free Swiss Family Card (https://www.myswissalps.com/swissfamilycard) that can be ordered along with the Swiss travel Pass. You don’t need anything extra for them if you visit the Jungfraujoch in that case.

Hi Anna, Arno
Thank you so much for the useful information. Yes, we’ll be traveling in June.
Oh, I didn’t know that the discounted price of CHF 159 for 3-day Top of Europe Pass does not apply for STP. If the return ticket price in June remain the same, then it would CHF 160.65 after 25 % discount. My two boys will be above 15 next year so it will be adult price for us all.
Thanks again 🙂
Cheers

You’re welcome! Being at the Jungfraujoch is a great experience in my opinion. But if you’d prefer a more affordable mountain excursion in this area, you can consider one of the below (all 50% discounted with your Swiss Travel Pass):
