Hi,

Could an expert please tell me if we have to choose between Mt Pilatus and Titlis - which one is the better option? It is for travel mid December.

According to your site, the following is included in the Mt. Titlis visit: "Travel on the 3 cable cars Engelberg-Trübsee-Stand-Titlis and back down (incl. Rotair ride on the world’s first revolving cable car)

Return trip on the «Ice Flyer» (glacier chairlift at 3000 m)

Unlimited use of the different snow toys in the Titlis Glacier Park (for free) Note: The park operates daily from May to October snow and weather conditions permitting

Visit to the Titlis Glacier Cave (for free)"

Which of these would be included in winter? Is the fare the same if less is included?

Am I correct that the rate for Titlis is CHF 58 compared to CHF 36 for one adult with the Half Fare Card?

Hi VanessaL, Welcome to Swissalps, we loved Mt Titlis compared to Mt Pilatus, you can easily avoid if you need to take one out, Mt Titlis has more options and you would get to experience more cable car rides apart from the Mountains. You can check out my detailed trip report as well.

Hello,

All the information about Titlis you can find on: www.titlis.ch

Return price Engelberg > Titlis > Engelberg are CHF 92,00 (full price), and Half Fare Card is Half Price = 50 % off.

Hi Vanessa-

What do you mean by "better"?

The links in earlier posts will allow you to study the options an help guide a selection.

When and where are you staying? Makes a difference for transport.
