    Dear All

I will be visiting Tirano from St Moritz by train. On the way to Tirano, I plan to take the normal train and wish to drop by one or two stops. Please will you advise which stops is good for tourists and around how much time is expected to spend over there ?

I have another option is to take Bernina Express from Tirano to Chur instead of St Moritz and wish to check:

    1. I have already booked the Bernina Express from Tirano to Pontersina, how can I change the destinaion from Pontersina to Chur ? I will stay in Chur for one night before going to Zurich.

    2. my last stop is Zurich before flying back home, how can I send the luggages from St Moritz to Zurich ? Does it matter if my 15 days Swiss Travel Pass expire on 24/9 while my luggage arrive Zurich on 25/9 ?

    Many thanks … Peter

    Hi Peter,

Nearly all stops have something to offer. It depends on what you plan to do there. You can walk from Morteratsch to the glacier, or take the cableway up from Bernina Diavolleza, enjoy the view from the terrace at Alp Grüm, or walk to Alp Grüm from Ospizio Bernina, or walk around the lake near Le Prese. Some get off in Brusio to watch the circular viaduct. You can spend a week just on this route 🙂

    1. You need a new reservation to Chur, and cancel the old one. Contact your retailer for how to do this.

2.Please see http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/practical/luggage. It’s no problem that your pass expires as long as it’s valid when paying for the service.

    Dear Arno

Many thanks for the prompt response.

My plan for this day is to drop off at 1 or 2 train stations to walk around and to catch the next train to carry on the journey.

To walk from Morteratsch to the glacier is part of my plan in St Mortiz, I will do it in another day.

May I also check with you on the horse carriage to Hotel Roseg and to have lunch over there, what is the expect time to stay around in that area, or I just expect to have a short walk before returning to Pontresina.

    Kind Regards

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

I would expect a couple hours in the area. To read more about this trip to Hotel Roseg check out this web page.
