Planning for 5 days!

We are planning a holiday in april 2011 to switzerland. We shall be coming from Brussels and want to spend more time in Bernese Oberland. We would like to spend one or two days in a charming village with some kind of activity to enjoy. Can somebody suggest some ideas to help us plan our trip?

Hi shanthi! The Bernese Oberland has lots of romantic villages. Kandersteg is one of them indeed. You could also consider Spiez, Wilderswil, Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen. They're all accessible by public transport. Hotels can be found here. The timetable will help you plan your trips. This day trip overview suggests what to see and do during your stay.
