Hello:

I will be arriving into Zurich airport and want to travel directly to Lucerne. I will be staying in Lucerne for 3 days taking day trips to Mt Titlis and Bern. On the 4th day, I will travel back to Zurich in the morning to explore Zurich for the day and then want to take overnight train to Vienna, Austria. I will be staying 4 days in Vienna and taking one day trip to Salzburg. Is there a good rail pass that I can use for all my trips? Thanks

A Eurail Austria-Switzerland Pass would cover most of these trips. Only the trip up the Titlis would be 50% off instead of free. Please find details at http://www.myswissalps .com/eurailaustriaswit zerlandpass. However, I doubt if you’ll be doing enough traveling in Austria to justify buying one. So cost wise, I think it’s better to buy a rail pass for Switzerland and look for a solution for the Austrian part of your trips apart from this. If you want to look for Swiss and Austrian options separately: for your Swiss trips, a Swiss Half Fare Card (http://www.myswissalps .com/swisshalffarecard) is probably the best buy.
