I’m travelling on 9th Nov from Paris to Switzerland and staying there for 3 days .. looking the passes which helped me to travel with in Switzerland by train so I can see Lucerne and interlaken specifically. Any one rail ticket which works from Paris to Zurich then Lucerne interlaken then back to Paris ?

    Hi Sharmeenimti

I’d look at either the Eurail Select Pass: http://www.myswissalps.com/eu railselectpass or the Swiss Travel Pass: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass

The Swiss Travel Pass won’t cover the trip from Paris to the Swiss border, but gives better discounts once you are in Switzerland, so it may be cheaper overall. If you buy it, you’ll need to buy a ticket from Paris to Switzerland (Basel). http://www.myswissalps.com/tr aintickets/france/pric e

Be sure to click on the “where it’s valid” tab on each rail pass page to see details on their coverage areas.

You will almost certainly be better off getting as cheap a fare as you can Paris – Switzerland on the Lyria TGV (the earlier you book the cheaper it will be), then buy a short-dated pass or point to point normal tickets.

You can get a ticket direct to Lucerne,or even Interlaken from Paris through SNCF. Some of their fares are pretty cheap if you have enough lead time. You can see on their website en.oui.sncf/en/train-europe.
