    Hello All,

My turn to place a question…

For the 2nd half of July, I am planning a hike in the Greina area between cantons Ticino and Grisons. One section would be from Campo in Val Blenio to Motterascio Hut. The trail goes along Lago di Luzzone reservoir.

The Switzerland Mobility map hints to a bus stop at Diga di Luzzone (see attachment). If we could reach the dam (diga) by bus, that would shorten the estimated hiking time of 4 1/2 hours. But the timetable does not suggest that this line is in operation, I have checked on week days and weekends.

I would be grateful if someone could tell me where to inquire further!

    Hi Snowman,

You’re certainly in title to ask a question after almost 500 posts! Looks like a good plan for mid summer. I found that bus line 131 operates from “Ghirone, Aquilesco” to “Diga di Luzzone” from 29 Jun until 29 Sep 2019 daily, and during weekends from 2 until 27 Sep 2019. The schedule is extremely limited though: I only found buses at 8:32, 15:32 and 16:38.

    Thanks, Arno, that’s great!

I am however puzzled, after checking again, this time from Ghirone, Aquilesco, I found bus 135A at 09:36.

Yes, that looks like the timetable you need. Have fun!
