What are the options to purchase/obtain passage on the Post bus system? Well will be in Brig for a week and it appears we will have to ride the PostBus to some of our destinations.

Danke sehr!

All Swiss Postal Buses are covered on the Swiss Pass although on some in the mountains you have to have an Alpine Ticket which is like a supplement in addition to the pass. You pay this directly to the driver. There are a very few bus lines that are not covered that give 50% discount with the pass.

That's an excellent answer Dick, thank you.

Jooch: just in case you are only planning a few local bus trips, and no further train trips, a local bus pass could fit your plans as well. The options vary per region. The postbus counter at the rail station in Brig can provide more information.
