Planning to travel Malles to Zernez, 25 September on Bus 811 and Brig to Domodossola, 5 October on Bus 631. Are seat reservations available and necessary?

Hi huggy! Malles-Zernez is part of the Engadin-Meran Route. You can arrange for your seat reservations online. Please use the links under “More on other websites” at http://www.myswissalps.com/bu s/reservations. These pages in particular may be helpful:

Brig-Domodossola is on the Simplon Route, for which seat reservations aren’t necessary as far as I know.

You’ll find connections on the Postauto website, but also in the general SBB timetable. You may have to use the advanced timetable and de-select other modes of transportation, such as trains, for the bus routes to be displayed. It’s explained at http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable. Connections requiring seat reservations are indicated by an “R” in a rectangle.
