Hello,

I need help and clarity regarding Postbus from St moritz to Lugano.

there are very few options available from St Moritz to Lugano. Hence i need to make sure i do not miss this bus ride.

While i have made reservation for my seats on a particular day, when do I need to make payment? Is it i pay direct to the driver when I board the bus?

Thanks for helping to answer this question.

Hi Alexemail88!

The postbus from St. Moritz to Lugano is called "Palm Express". It's one of the bus routes for which a prior seat reservation is required. You'll find links to such routes at www.myswissalps.com/bus/reservations.

You can make your reservations online here: www.postauto.ch/en/excursion-tips/palm-express.

Do you have a railpass covering this route (https://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses)? In that case there's nothing else you need except for the seat reservation. If you don't have a railpass covering this route, you'll need a ticket as well. This can be a regular ticket, to be bought in advance or (in this case) from the bus driver: www.myswissalps.com/bus/tickets. A Saver Day Pass might be cheaper though, especially if you order it well in advance: https://www.myswissalps.com/saverdaypass.

Have fun, it's a beautiful ride!
