We are going on the Glacier Express in February. This is the main point of travelling to Switzerland. May do one other trip whilst there. So limited need for all singing & dancing pass. However I would like the pass that includes the first and last journey, typically from airport to destination and back again, but can also be used to get a 50% discount on other journeys. Does this pass still exsist. Cannot find anywhere to buy it online. Any help would be much appreciated.

That used to be the Swiss Transfer ticket, which has been abolished.

The range of fares ‘for international guests’ can be found here:

Hello George and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

Based on your personal itinerary you should read “How to choose the best travel pass” (http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/chooserailpass), download the handy spreadsheet calculator and do the math. The spreadsheet also includes links to the “Where it’s valid” page for all available passes. Be sure to check those pages for each pass you are considering. Study the map AND read all the text on those pages to fully understand what is covered by the respective pass.

The Saver Day Pass pretty much made the Swiss Transfer Ticket obsolete. Take a good look at that. This might also be a useful source of information for you.
