    Hello,

My husband and I will be visiting Switzerland in early September, traveling from Zurich to Murren, spending 3 days in that area, then traveling to Ascona for 3 days, after which we will return to Zurich. I was planning to buy a Swiss Saver Pass, but am confused about whether we should buy the Bernese Oberland pass as well, or instead of, the Saver Pass.

    Thanks.

Hello kherrms, and welcome! Since you’ll be traveling throughout the country, the Swiss Saver Pass would be the best option. In most cases it’s not economical to buy an extra regional pass on top of that. And as you’ll also need transportation to, from and around Ascona, just the Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland wouldn’t suffice. So in all, I think you’re best off with the 8 day Swiss Saver Pass. I hope that helps you decide!
