Good morning,

We are leaving beautiful Luzerne this morning and heading to Grindelwald.

Driving, family of 4, 17 & 16 year old. We have seen Rhine Falls, Zurich, spent last 2 days in Luzerne.

Heading to Mr Pilatus (unable to go yesterday, due to weather), then heading to Mr Tilis ( which was planned for today).

Do you recommend seeing both mountains? Any other recommendations to see on the route to Grindelwald? Any advise on the best driving route?

We know last minute, but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Yes, yesterday was for sure a bad-weather day, better staying in lower altitudes on such days. By driving you mean by car, right?!

I can absolutely visit both mountains, check details below:

If you check your route from Lucerne to Grindelwald in the following page you will see you can either drive via Bern, our capital and another possible stop, or via the Brünig Pass, a 1000 meter high pass. This route might currently still have snow (after yesterday) but offers many quaint little villages along the way (Sarnen, Lungern, Meiringen, Brienz, Iseltwald)

Thank you for the quick response. It does help. We are looking to soak up as much as we can of the beautiful countryside and small towns, as well as seeing all the big “attractions” everyone has recommended.
