    Hi,

Planning day trip from Lucerne to Bernese Oberland in June. Drive and park in Lauterbrunnen early morning- see sights, train to Murren and if weather permitting go up gondola to Schilthorn. Return to Wengen by train for a while and then return By train to Lauterbrunnen. Will be walking around the villages but not hiking trails. Drive and park at Giessbach hotel and walk to waterfalls, stopover in Brienz and back to Lucerne pm.

Will go with the flow as far as how the day is going and not sprint from place to place but are my transportation options correct?

    Thanks!

    Pretty much.

From Lauterbrunnen a very nice circuit to do is to Grütschalp (cable car), Mürren (train), Gimmelwald (cable car), Stechelberg (cable car), Lauterbrunnen (bus). From Mürren you visit Schilthorn. In between Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen the bus stops at the Trummelbach Falls. Well worth a look.
