Hello All

I would be renting a car for a week from Frankfurt airport and drive south to Switzerland and looking for the latest information on buying the sticker (Vignette ?) to drive in Switzerland. Can you please provide me some guidance on where I Can buy this sticker while / before entering Switzerland ? Thank you so much !

Hi Nk masco,

Car rental companies in Germany usually provide the vignettes if you specify beforehand that you'll be driving in Switzerland.

Alternatively, you can get the motorway vignette online or at any gas station or kiosks at the border. More details here: www.myswissalps.com/motorwayvignette.

Be sure to read about the general traffic rules here: www.myswissalps.com/car/trafficregulations

Regards,

Anna

If the car does not already have a vignette sticker, you will be able to purchase one at the customs house on the border crossing point
