Reserve Lucerne boat cruise with Swiss Travel Pass

    Hello! I am traveling to Lucerne this weekend and would love to do the boat cruise. How do I reserve my free spot since Swiss Pass users are free?

    Hello annavidako and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

    I’m not sure which “boat cruise” you had in mind but with a Swiss Travel Pass you can just hop on any ferry you like.

    You’ll find details at http://www.lakelucerne.ch/en/ timetable-fares/timetable/.

    Be sure to check the Winter timetable which is limited. Also offers for specific cruises.

    Yes, all boat trips on Lake Lucerne are free and non-reservable for Swiss Travel Passholders.

    The exceptions would be special event cruises: dinner cruise, brunch cruise, jazz cruises etc. They may well offer discounts though to Swiss Travel Pass holders.
