Are restrooms at Zurich airport free of charge ? How much are public toilets at train stations, in city, etc? Do you have to have exchange change? Thx, tina

They are free at the airport.

They vary at stations - sometimes free, sometimes CHF1, sometimes CHF2 (eg for the well-named McClean facilities at major stations). They give change but it helps to have coins.

In general the smaller stations are free and the bigger the station the higher the price.

Almost all trains have toilets (labelled WC) on board.

In cities and towns you may find them free or you may need a franc. Department stores (eg Manor) usually have free toilets.

Hope rockoyster's comment was helpful.
