Rigi on Sunday, Harder Kulm reservation

    Hi,

    I realized that I forgot to take into account that Switzerland slows down on Sunday’s. As a result, I’m thinking of moving our visit to Mt. Rigi from a weekday to a Sunday. Is this going to mean that there will be more crowds on Sunday and that the trains will be more crowded?

    Another question please: do we need to make reservations at the restaurant at Harder Kulm?

    Hi Lawren,

    Rigi generally gets more visitors at the weekend. Substantially more if the weather is good. You might encounter large crowds at the train and cable car stations but at the top the crowd usually disperse. You can find more information on Rigi here: http://www.myswissalps.com/rigi

    If you’re visiting Harder Kulm during lunch time, unless you’re prepared to wait it’s best to make prior reservation if you’re planning to have meals at the restaurant. You can find more information on Harder Kulm here: http://www.myswissalps.com/harderkulm
