Hello dear group, what is the difference between SBB mobile app and SBB inclusive app please? I found both and am confused. Thank you so much!

I arrive in Zurich airport on a Sunday at 6 pm.

Until what time is the Zurich rail station open on Sundays please?

Thank you all for the support!

    Hello Sunset,

The SBB inclusive app is geared towards those who are visually impaired or blind. For also those who are deaf and have compromised hearing.

For Zurich’s main rail station, if you mean the shops. They are normally open till around 8.00pm on Sundays.

    Kind regards,

    Yolanda

    Hi Sunset,

There is an SBB Travel Centre at Zurich Airport train station. The ticket office is open until 9pm daily. The train station is located in the airport itself, I think a few floors down from Arrival. You can find the link to the airport map here: http://www.myswissalps.com/airports/zurich

    Hi Sunset,

You can get your Swiss Travel Pass at the Zurich Airport rail station indeed. But in general, it’s easier, quicker and safer (as you’ll always have a digital back-up) to buy online in advance. Please see https://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/price and http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/wheretobuy for details.

Thank you Arno for the information. If I buy online, is there a way I could pay in Swiss francs instead of converting into dollars. I heard that it is more beneficial for me refusing the dynamic currency conversion. Thank you so much!

    Hi Sunset,

Yes, you can pay in Swiss francs online, and indeed that’s often the cheapest option. Most if not all vendors listed at http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/price offer that option. The official SBB web shop for tourists can be found here: https://shop.switzerlandtravelcentre.com/en/home. You’ll receive your passes within 5 minutes.

Wow! You are absolutely amazing guys! So prompt in responding! Such a great group!

    Thank you so much!

So how do I make sure I pay in Swiss francs ? I see that they are automatically posting the price in dollars before giving me the option. Please guide me. Thank you million times!

    Hi Sunset,

You’re most welcome 🙂 Simply click the currency switcher in the top of the website. Most websites offering different currencies have a similar switch. Sometimes it’s in the footer or a menu item.

Hi Sunset. That’s correct. HappyRail (in your screenshot) is often a bit cheaper than other resellers.

Hi Arno, but is it safe like the other ones? Do you recommend them or prefer the official website? What is the difference between them please? Thank you so much for all the help and time to all this beautiful team!
