    Hello,

I am planning a trip from Milan to Lucerne by the end of July.

What is the recommended route for a scenic trip.

Do regular trains have similar route and can be used as an option.

    Please advise.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Alex, welcome to MySwissAlps!

The most obvious scenic route, assuming you want to do this within one day, is this one: myswissalps.com/gottha rdpanoramaexpress/tick ets. The regular trains cross a very long tunnel so not much scenery there.
