Hi there,

We will be staying in Wengen for 3 nights late Sept and plan to do a one-day trip to Schilthorn and Trummelbach Falls. Could anyone please suggest the best round trip (and transport) for me to cover the following places? In which direction should i start first to maximise our time there? We will be having the Swiss Travel Pass.

a) Schilthorn

b) Flower Trail from Allmendhubel to Murren

c) Trummelbach Falls

We will be traveling with a 4-year old. Is Trummelbach Falls too slippery for a toddler?

Hi Melissa-

don’t have time for a full answer right now, but this map will give you a start on understanding the route:

You can do it in either direction, but I’d start with te stunning part- Schilthorn, et al. You’ll want to have more time there.

Hi Melissa,

Slowpoke has right, due to security reasons children of the age below 4 years are not allowed to enter the Trummelbach Falls. If your toddler is already 4 years old that cannot be a problem, just make sure you have an ID with you as proof of the birthday.
