Is there a way to buy ahead of time just tickets for a certain day for the Schilthorn without buying cable car transport too? We will already have free cable car due to having the Swiss Travel Pass so I’d like to get tickets for the Schilthorn wihout paying also for the transport.

Schilthorn is free with the Swiss Travel Pass – all the way to the top and back again and transport there and back from just about anywhere in Switzerland.

Hi Mkatie68,

You don’t buy tickets for the mountains really. You buy tickets to get to the mountain top and that is all.
So if the transport to a mountain is free with your Swiss Travel Pass (like Schilthorn) there are no extra costs.
