We will be based in Luzern and will have one day to either go to the Laterbrunnen Valley and the Schilthorn or Mt. Pilatus. Which to choose? Thoughts?

    Thanks!

    Mark

Well you won’t need a car if you choose Pilatus. But you also won’t get to see the Lauterbrunnen Valley. 🤓

    Tough call.

    Hi Mark,

It’s a personal choice in the end. Maybe the information on our website can help you to make a decision:

    Hello Mark,

If you have a train pass that will allow any travel you want to do, I would choose the longer trip; over via Lac Brienz to Interlaken, then up to Lauterbrunnen and from there up to the Schilthorn. Why not try looking for videos on YouTube that would give you a better idea what the views from Pilatus and the Schilthorn are like ? And, as Rockoyster has already pointed out, if you do the Pilatus you will not get to see the Lauterbrunnen valley, which is one of its kind.
