Hello Travelers,

Traveling with a Swiss Pass when you book additional trains outside the STP, are there trains that require a seat reservation and how do you book that to ensure one seat from point to point.

Hi Michelle!

You’re probably referring to the Swiss Travel Pass (the SwissPass is something different, and for Swiss residents mostly): http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass. As for your question: the vast majority of trains is covered by the Swiss Travel Pass and seat reservations are usually not necessary. Only some special panoramic trains require reservations.
