    Hi Zairy,

I’m not sure if there would be snow in Interlaken in mid December. Might be too early.
Please check the weather forecast before you travel. Sometimes people get lucky.

Consider going to Mt Titlis in Engelberg near Lucerne, if your kids want to experience snow. There’s fresh powder up there all year round. If you have the Swiss Travel Pass, you will get 50% discount when you purchase the cable car tickets. Here’s the link if you need more information:

There is plenty of things you can do in Interlaken apart from sledging

    Wishing you a pleasant trip.

    Hi again Zairy,

You can try Schilthorn near Lauterbrunnen. There’s snow up there but I don’t think sledding is allowed.

Please check the weather and the timetable before you go

I do hope we will get some snow in Interlaken by mid-December, thick enough for the kids to go sledding on the mountains in Grindelwald, Murren or Wengen.
