Swiss Travel Pass + additional pass for Wengen?

Below is our itinerary and we plan on getting the Swiss Travel Pass for 15 days - there is 7 adults. Since we are staying Wengen for 7 nights, should we also get the Bernese Oberland Pass? And if so should we buy the Bernese OBerland ahead of time or wait and get when we get there. We plan to get the Swiss Travel Pass ahead of time and make seat reservations where needed ahead of time. It's usually not economical to have two passes at the same time. Your Swiss Travel Pass already grants free traveling and discounts in the Wengen area: https://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/validity.

Having said that: as a Swiss Travel Pass holder, you'll get a discount on the Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland: https://www.myswissalps.com/regionalpassberneseoberland/price. That's beneficial. And if you plan to travel a lot of mountain routes that are free with the Regional-Pass, but discounted with a Swiss Travel Pass, this combination might be worth it.

Thank you so much for all the information! I think we get the Oberland pass also because we plan on traveling and doing alot the 7 nights/8 days we are staying in Wengen and the convenience of not having to buy individual tickets is a plus too. Thansk Cindy

Have you compared the costs of having a Swiss Travel Pass FLEX for the days you are not staying in Wengen? You won't be able to get a discount on the Berner Oberland Pass, but it may be cheaper, for example, to have a 6 day Flex STP and a 8 day Berner Oberland. I've not actually priced it out, but just something to consider.
