Is there any place to go sledding/sledging the last week of November? Most official places don’t seem to open till mid Dec. Can you just rent sleds and go on your own anyplace around Zermatt? Thank you

Last week of November is a bit early for ‘official’ sledging, but if you hire or buy one in a high altitude resort it should be possible to use it somewhere

    Hello Bedibovio,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps!

Indeed the official sledging season is not until mid-December mainly because of lack of snow. However, weather can be unpredictable and if by chance there is an early snow fall, you could rent a sled and go around Zermatt. You can always check when you are here to see if any have opened earlier.
