Hi

I was wondering where can I try sledging in Zermatt / Jungfrau region and come upon this site

I would be in Grindelwald 1st cliff on 11th Oct and wonder if this place available for sledging and tobatobogganing, I couldn’t figure out the operation hours on their website

or where can I try sledging in Zermatt, jungfrau nearby on 2nd week of Oct ?

Altitude governs the snow line.

In October, there will not be snow at Bussalp, which is at about 1800- meters.

Similar to First.

Yes, October is too early for sledging. Even if there was a rare and heavy snowstorm, the services wouldn’t be set up until late November at the earliest, I would think.

Hi Swiss4me,

Sledding is best done in winter, when at least the higher valleys should have snow on the ground. During autumn you can only visit the snow parks at some of the peaks, like Jungfraujoch: http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfraujoch. This park is open until mid October.
