I am looking to use a double axle braked trailer to move a motor vehicle around Switzerland and despite looking at my Canton’s vehicle registration as well as the TCS sites, cannot find any site with details of :

1. general small trailer (≤3000kgs gross loaded weight) rules and regulations.

2. load securing regulations for motor vehicle securing on a trailer

Sorry to say I don’t have details on this one. We’re tourism focused and haven’t had this question before. 🙂

Both sites have contact emails you can use and should be able to answer your question – or direct you to the right website. Most of the time English emails are replied to in German but they may reply in English or Google translate can help if you aren’t fluent in German.
