Hi,

I am planning to visit switzerland for 9-10 days from around oct 19th this year. I wanted to know how much snow will we be able to see and where all can we find snow. We want to visit when we get to see a lot of snow in switzerland.

Also would like to know if we will be able to do activities like snow tubing, snow park, tobagganing, zip lines, etc in october end. I believe the alpine coasters and tobaggan rides shut in october. Wouldnt wanna miss that when we come.

Nice to hear you’re coming along to Switzerland!

Mid October is normally not yet the time of new snowfall on a wider range yet, but then again, there are enough mountains in Switzerland with snow all year round, so there’s nothing to worry about.

E.g. Mount Titlis, the Jungfraujoch, the Schilthorn have snow all year round, allowing to experience and play in the white wonder! 🙂

Anything above approx. 3’000 meters / 10’000 feet, has snow throughout the year.
