Hi We are a party of 6 adults with no physical restrictions.

Booked for arrival in Wengen for 2.5 days arriving Wednesday Oct 2 mid day post Rhine River Cruise (arriving by train from Basel).

Looking for suggestions: we would love to see something and do something local, like a farm or something authentic to the region.

Or is there a nice easy hike that is easy to do the afternoon of Wednesday, if so, what hike would you suggest and where would it start?

Also, is there any place we should definitely eat at for true Swiss cuisine in the Wengen area?

We are also there for a full day Thursday and Friday, so should we book the Jungfraujoch and/or Schiltorn and/or Schiynge Platte? Which two sites would be the most interesting for us? Or should we be considering some other scenice area or train ride for those two days?

We depart Saturday Morning for Lucerne and I believe we would be doing a lake cruise as we dont need to do Mt Pilatus since we will be doing some mountains views in the Jungfrau region

What else is good to see in Lucerne if you are there for one day?

We depart early Sunday morning by train for the Zurich airport to return to Canada.

You will find a “what do do” tab in both links, providing you with input about the area, possible hikes and much more. You will find authentic Swiss food in most locations throughout Switzerland, I don’t think you need to worry about that. Especially in the mountain areas people are very proud of their food and it’s widely offered everywhere.
