Day 1 : Reaching Geneva 10.30 am – Travel to Montreux , Lake side Promenade walk in the evening and stay at Monteux

Day 2 : One day sight seeing in Montreux ( Visit Rochers de Naye mountain in the morning and the Chillon Castle in the afternoon )

Day 3 : Early Travel to Zermatt, 2 hrs 45 mts journey via VISP , drop the baggage’s in hotel . Visit to Matterhorn Paradise, It is closed on 30th April. Is it possible to visit on the day ?

( Zermatt to Trockener steg by Matterhorn express and by cable car Matterhorn Glacier paradise )

Day 4: Planned to visit Rothorn Paradise ( Not available ). So will plan to go to Gornergrat, Overnight stay at Zermatt OR travel to Interlaken and stay overnight

Day 5: Morning travel to Interlaken, Plan for E-Bike, Gridelwald first and overnight stay

Day 6: Visit Jungfraujoch, Overnight stay in Interlaken .

Day 6: Travel to Venice by Train, Speiz to Brig to Venice ; 7 Hrs

Journey ; 4 pm at Hotel .

Day 7 : Venice Sightseeing .

Walking Tour With A Local Guide and Gondola ride (2:30 hrs in the morning )

At 14:30 Duration – 4:30 hrs : Murano, Burano And Torcello Half-day Sightseeing Tour

Day 8 : Afternoon flight from Venice airport , Include drop to Airport .

Kindly post your suggestions please . Still confused whether to stay which two places to select ( Zermatt vs Interlaken vs Lucerne )

Hello mvachagan,

You might think about first taking Golden Pass Line (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass) from Montreux to Interlaken. Then make your way back to Zermatt via Kandersteg for most scenic route then to Venice. More efficient travel-wise I think.

Matterhorn Paradise does not re-open until 12 May.

Your choice is really Zermatt v Lucerne. Quite different experiences.
