Hi,

We have 1 night stay in Wengen and we would like to know what is the best option/route in order to be able to see the villages (Wengen, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Interlaken, etc… by cable car, tram, boat, etc…). We understand we might not be able to cover a lot but at least some of villages. We might also consider to rent trottie bikes. Which village is the best place to start to rent?

Any advices will be really appreciated. Thank you!

From Wengen, you can head to Lauterbrunnen and then to Murren via the valley and Stechelberg bus or on a nice walk (https://www.myswissalp s.com/hiking/lauterbru nnen-stechelberg) or via Grütschalp (cable car and train from Lauterbrunnen). Grindelwald can be reached by cable car from Wengen (not in the same direction as Lauterbrunnen and Murren.

Trotti bike rentals are most popular up in the mountains to go downhill – so I don’t know if you’ll find any in the villages. IE rent at Bort and travel down to Grindelwald: https://www.jungfrau.c h/en-gb/grindelwaldfirst/tr ottibike-scooter/

Hi Lucas,

Thank you for the info. We are in Wengen now. We visited Lauterbrunnen yesterday. It was unimaginable stunning view! Very much speechless when we got there! If we want to go to Kleine Scheidegg this morning, what can you suggest? After KS, any nice walk trails or villages that we can visit? We’ll have to go back to Interlaken to catch the train at 6pm afterwards.
