We have a flight to catch from Geneva Airport at 3.30 PM on 07 December 2014 and will be reaching Geneva in the morning same day. Any suggestions regarding what all important places we can visit or see or do?

    Thank you

As the 7th is a Sunday you will find a lot of places are closed. But you could try the Museum of The History of Sciences, I think it is open every day, admission is free. It is small, has exhibits of interest to all ages and is right on the Lake… take a bus or taxi to the Museum, then walk back along the lake side after visiting the museum, find somewhere for Lunch then train to the Airport.

An alternative is the Cathedral in the old town. You can climb the stairs to the top and get a great view of the city, though not sure if there are services on Sundays that might get in the way of going up the tower.
