Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do when the weather is bad in Grindelwald ?

Just go to places in lesser elevations like Lauterbrunnen , Schynige Platte, lakes like brienzerse or Interlaken

It is a bit tricky in Grindelwald as there aren’t a lot of indoor activities there. If indeed you get rain all day (don’t count on the weather forecast to be accurate there until about 48 hours beforehand) I’d look at going outside the region. Look at a city trip perhaps for the day, like Interlaken, Bern etc. You will probably find the weather an hour away is different than around Grindelwald.

Yes, the lake areas have a better chance to get some sun. Avoid Schynige Platte though, that’s much higher than Grindelwald and likely to be in the clouds too.
