Hi,

I have already bought Swiss Half Fare card for my trip to Switzerland. We will be going to Mt. Titlis one day from Lucerne and JungFru another day from Interlaken. I am getting the Saver day pass for $49 for end of July. My question is how much will I save if I buy t he saver day pass (in addition to Half Fare Card) for Mt. Titlis and Jungfru trip ? Will it save me more than the cost of the pass (CHF 49).

Let me know your expert opinion.

The Saver Day Pass (https://www.myswissalp s.com/onedaytravelpass /details) only gets you to the town of Engelberg and Wengen or Grindelwald. The Swiss Half Fare Card would be used for the rest of the trip up the mountain: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isshalffarecard. The timetable (https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable) gives you the prices.

The Saver Day Pass gets you a free trip to Engelberg from Luzern (about 20chf one-way) and then a free trip to Wengen or Grindelwald from Interlaken (about 10-15chf one-way). So you’d want to do more travel each day to make the Saver Day Pass worth it.
