    Dear jatinsmehta,

In October, public beaches at lakes are closed. Water is cold. However, some public beaches stay accessible (entrance free, but no lifeguard or any facility except maybe toilets). The best such place is Les Pâquis in downtown Geneva. There you may even find a sauna, and a place to eat fondue.

As for swimming pools, that would only be indoors. Ask Mr Google.

Yes, I wouldn’t want to swim in a lake in October! But each town will have a local indoor pool and some public pools become public sauna’s like Snowman mentions.
