I was wondering if their is a list of cable cars in the Engadin region (St Moritz) where the half fare card works? Does it work on all cable cars and funiculars? and also if I have a family card together with the half fare card would that mean all the children will travel free on the cable car ? or is that only for trains. If someone can explain. Thank you

Hi Twillner, welcome to MySwissAlps!

The validity map to be downloaded from http://www.myswissalps.com/swisshalffarecard/validity shows which cable cars are discounted. You’ll see the routes if you zoom in on the Engadine area. Furtschellas and Corvatsch (http://www.myswissalps.com/corvatsch/tickets) are discounted; other mountain tops aren’t.

Note that many hotels in the Engadine offer free use of cable cars in summer: http://www.myswissalps.com/stmoritz/travel.

Yes, the Swiss Family Card allows children to travel along for free on all routes on which the parents receive discounts. This includes mountain transportation: http://www.myswissalps.com/swissfamilycard.
