Hi, I would really like to have advice and recommendations for my itinerary as I am really confused about the swiss pass.

Which would be a better choice? Swiss Half Fare Card or Swiss 3 Days Travel Pass? My itinerary are as follows:-

Day 1 – The Chocolate Train – Golden Pass

Day 2 – Golden Pass (Montruex to Lucerne)

Day 3 – Lucerne to Bern

    Thank you.

    Hi Vonnetic,

The excel sheet on our ‘how to choose your rail pass” will help you to figure it out exactly.

I would lean towards the Swiss Half Fare Card (120chf) if those are indeed your only use of trains, buses, gondolas etc on your trip. The Swiss Travel Pass (3 days at 220chf) covers 2 of the 3 routes only (you still have to pay for the chocolate train at a similar discount to the Swiss Half Fare Card).
