Hi,

I am thinking of purchashing the swiss half-fare pass and noted that 50% discount is applicable on the Golden Pass line. However, I wanted to check if the entire route i.e. Interlaken to Montreux would be covered as somewhere i read it is applicable ” Golden Pass – Montreux- Zweisimmen”. Please confirm whether the discount is applcable for the route Interlaken to Montrex. Thanks.

Yes, it covers the whole trip. The Swiss Half Fare Card is valid for essentially every train or bus or cable car trip in Switzerland. You can see a map of the routes covered the it here.

You can also buy the Swiss Half Fare Card online here and print it out at home to bring with you (no line ups at train stations and you have back up copies in case you lose it).
