Hello, we are visiting Switzerland April 1st week (2019) for 3-4 days , planning on landing in Zurich and then go to interlaken in train and stay a night there and take a tour to top of the Europe tour with the cog wheel train. I want to know if we would even see greenery scenic places and if so which train route would you suggest. Thanks

    Welcome to MySwissAlps Rams!

There won’t be snow on the ground in the valleys. That would be highly unlikely. There will be snow in the mountains. It’s starting to get Spring in the valleys but it won’t be as green as in May/June. What it will look like depends on the coming winter and the weather when you’re there. Hopefully some sunny days for you!

The most scenic route to Interlaken is via Lucerne and the Golden Pass line.
