Swiss motorway vignette did not arrive yet

Hi
Has anyone else had problems with Vignetteshop.co.uk
I took advice from this website and ordered my swiss motorway vignette from Vignetteshop.co.uk. They say they posted it 8 days ago but it has still not arrived with me and now if I try to call them on the phone I get a message that the phone number is not accepting calls
Any advice welcome

It is now 7 working days and it’s still not arrived. Let’s hope it comes tomorrow as that is when I set off for Switzerland. Do you know if they post with a tracked service? Wondering if it lost in the postal system.

thats interesting. Why are they telling me it shipped on 9th and your it shipped on 15th.
agree if only shipped on 15th no wonder it hasn’t arrived. I am surprised considering the value that they dont send it with some tracking on. If they did we could see where it is now!

I did contact them again yesterday with a promise of a response within 24 hours but not heard back.
im thinking of contacting the credit card company and trying to sort out with them. Obviously the vignette is no use to me now. ☹️

Sorry to hear about your situation. Yes, I think it may be best to contact your credit card company and request for a refund.
If you haven’t ordered a new vignette yet, you can get one from any of the gas station at the borders.

If that doesn’t work, then go to your credit card company. The vast majority of shipments arrive in time, but there’s always the few that don’t unfortunately. I’ll let you know once I have more info.

thanks but I took Anna’s advice and raised it with my credit card company and they have refunded me.
I understand what you are saying but when they tell me one thing (shipped 9 June) and you another (shipped 15 June) then there is a problem with this supplier.

I was able to figure out what happened. Your vignette was actually shipped on June 9, about 90 minutes after you placed the order (I attached their internal order log). The reason I was told it was June 15, was a mistake by their staff: they probably saw the time (15 hours; 3 PM) in that log and mistakenly passed that on as the date to me.
So, the postal services caused the delay in this case. You should have received it in about a week as promised, and that would have been in time for your trip. In cases like this you can send the vignette back to them and they will get you a refund. Since you’ve already disputed the charge via your credit card, you can send the vignette back and there won’t be another refund of course 🙂 Should the vignette not get delivered at all, please let them know.
As for the phone number: it hasn’t changed and you should be able to reach them during office hours through +44 (0)20 36089807. Not sure what happened when you tried to reach them.
This retailer has successfully shipped thousands of vignettes and can definitely be trusted. Otherwise we wouldn’t link to them. In this case it was an external factor and some bad luck regarding communication that caused this bad experience for you. Sorry about that!
Hopefully it’s all cleared up now. Enjoy your trip! If you have any chance to post a trip report here afterwards that would be great!
